Cally Burk grew up on a cattle ranch near Raton, NM. After graduating from high school in 2000 and taking a year off, she came to Lubbock Christian University in the fall of 2001 and graduated with an Animal Science degree in May of 2005. She came back to LCU in November of 2008 as a transfer admissions counselor.

Adelle Davis grew up in Slaton, TX and graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2005 with an Early Childhood Education degree. Before returning as an Admissions Counselor, Adelle worked with the kindergarten program at a local daycare and then with the Lubbock County District Clerks Office.

After almost 20 years of ministry, Tim Day returns to our campus. Tim was a student from ’86-’89 and met his wife Lisa here at LCU. They have 2 daughters. After completing his BA at Amberton University, Tim earned his Masters in Biblical Studies from LCU in 2004. He has been a part of LCU camps like Pine Springs, Encounter, and Camp Champion for decades, with over 17 years in Youth Ministry. In 2006, their family returned to Lubbock and LCU—with Tim working through admissions and Lisa working in Financial Aid. He is excited to be here to continue his ministry with young people at LCU.

David hails originally from Perryton, TX. He graduated from LCU in 2005 with a degree in Organizational Communications. After working in the automotive and agricultural parts business for two years, he returned to LCU as a counselor in Admissions. His wife, Staci, is a teacher with Frenship I.S.D. David would gladly answer any question students may have concerning their college decision.

Jim was born in Lamesa, Texas and is a graduate of LCU, and was in the U. S. Navy for 20 years. His wife Joyce is the Administrative Assistant to Athletic Director. They have three children (All graduates of LCHS and LCU) & seven grandchildren. Jim served at LCU in 1971 and left in 1973, returning again in 1994.

Kecia Nichols graduated from LCU in May of 2008 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Kecia grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and will be recruiting back in her old stomping grounds starting in the fall. She plans on continuingher education by earning her Masters. Kecia will soon be married to the Landon Jackson, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at LCU.

Fresh off of graduation in December, Kelsey Maxwell is from the Golden Pride of the Golden Triangle, Nederland, Texas. Kelsey graduated in 2008 with a degree in Organizational Communication and will persue his Master degree in Organizational Leadership from LCU in the coming year. Kelsey comes from a LCU family. His parents, Craig (’83) and Susan (’84) graduated from LCC and he also currently has two siblings on campus, Sarah (c/o 2009) and Kent (c/o 2011). He will be working with the D/FW metroplex students with last names N-Z.

Shelley has been at LCU since 1993. She graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 1984 with a B.S. in Business Administration. Shelley is married to Tony Parnell, Associate Professor at LCU, and they have two sons Jacob a sophomore at LCU and Jordan a senior at LCU.

She gladly returned to LCU as a part of the admissions team in August 2007. During her absence from LCU, she pursued her Master’s degree in Mass Communication while working at United Supermarkets. |

He graduated from LCU in 2007 with a degree in Humanities with an emphasis in English. Rob has been a substitute teacher in the Lubbock ISD, has twice been a counselor at LCU-owned Pine Springs Summer Camp, and has mildly been a part of the Lubbock music scene armed only with his guitar and harmonica.

Charlie is a former Lubbock Christian College student and graduate of Texas Tech. After 25 years of traveling the world in the Air Force, Charlie, his wife Jan, and their three kids, Shelby, Chase and Allie, gladly return to Texas and Lubbock Christian University. DC, London, Paris, Rome, Riyadh…it’s hard to top good ol’ West Texas.
