This guide lists selected print and electronic resources available to LCU learners.
Find Books for historical and in-depth information. Books are shelved in call # L-LT.
Search the library catalog by:
- keyword or phrase
- author
- title
- subject
- periodical titles
Search example: cooperative learning is keyword, group work in education is the subject heading. Subject headings are listed on the detailed record to define/broaden/narrow terms.
Find background information in Reference, such as: Early Childhood Education: an international encyclopedia, Encyclopedia of Special Education, Learning Theories

Journals shelved by title in current, fiche, film or back issues – see catalog for holdings.

Many journals not located at LCU may be in a full text database or at a local library or may be requested from another library (1-2 weeks delivery - see ILL Info Guide).

Few databases have all articles with text.
Other databases may be useful depending on topic.
Content in databases may change due to contracts between publishers & vendor.
