Distance Students

Library services for distance students are:

  • borrowing privileges
  • research and reference assistance
  • library instruction
  • interlibrary loan mediation

Your LCU ID and LCUnet login are your keys to all university services.

Distance services are available to students currently enrolled in a LCU course, which is delivered 60% or more electronically and who reside outside Lubbock County.  Those enrolled in online and on-campus courses are not eligible for distance services.  These services are based on the LCU Library print and electronic resources.  Services are developed and administered in consultation with the faculty.

2.   Select the best database for your topic: Health Reference, ATLA,  Professional development, Business source, SocIndex, Literature resource, etc.

4.  Academic Search has articles on any topic.  Check "peer-reviewed" for scholarly sources.

Note: Full text articles are pdf or html format.  If full-text is not included with your citation, look for the journal title in the LCU catalog.  Or, email us the complete citation, ILL@lcu.edu so we can help you get full benefit from the databases.
