Find Books for in-depth or historical information
Religion call#s: BL-BX, PA=Greek language, PJ=Hebrew language
Search the library catalog by:
- keyword or phrase
- author
- title
- subject
- periodical title
Search example: Bible. N.T. Romans Commentaries
[searching for the word Romans is a keyword search that will include history on Rome]
Subject Headings listed on the detailed record define/broaden/narrow terms.
Find background information using Reference books, such as:
Anchor Bible Dictionary
New Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible

Many journals not located at LCU may be in a full text database or a local library or may be requested from another library (1-2 weeks delivery – see ILL Info Guide)
