Art books are shelved in the N call # section. Music shelved in the M call # section.
Search the library catalog by:
- keyword or phrase
- author
- title
- subject
- periodical title
Search examples: Art motif is keyword. Art—Themes, motives is subject heading.
Art education is keyword. Art—Study & teaching is subject.
Melody books is keyword. Musical books is subject heading.
Subject Headings listed on the detailed record define/broaden/narrow terms
Find background information in M-N Reference books, such as:

Find Articles using Databases for current information
Journals shelved by title in current, fiche, film or back issues – see catalog for holdings.

Many journals not located at LCU may be in a full text database or at a local library or may be requested from another library (1-2 weeks delivery – see ILL Info Guide)
